Most interior renovations that alter partitions, egress, or building systems require filings with the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB). Seroy coordinates with your architect/engineer to submit permits and ensure work adheres to current NYC Construction Codes.

We survey the shaft, car, and hoistway equipment, then file plans for decommissioning, infill, and fire-rated closure as required. SERØY coordinates DOB submissions and inspections to ensure safe removal and compliant reinstatement of structure and finishes.

Our millwork follows Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) standards for materials, fabrication, and installation tolerances. We coordinate shop drawings, finishes, and protection to maintain quality from delivery through punch-list.

Yes—our building-management experience includes notice protocols, protection plans, and quiet-hours coordination. We align with house rules, FDNY egress requirements, and NYC Noise Code while keeping stakeholders informed.

We handle punch-list carpentry, minor interiors, fixture swaps, and trim repairs, scaling to GC services as needed. For pre-1978 properties we follow EPA RRP lead-safe practices and coordinate DOB filings if scope requires.
